Secrets of Stittsville Main Street

On this walk, we'll discover some of the secrets of Stittsville Main Street and explore the past, present, and future of the area: a bank vault, a ball diamond, a community garden, a wheelwright's stone, the lost railway, the great fire, and more. Stroll down our main street, open your eyes, and see what you can discover.

Starting from Village Square Park on the southeast corner of Stittsville Main St. and Abbott St., we'll walk along Stittsville Main St., heading north to Wintergreen Dr. We'll cross the street to the west side and head south to Orville St., then back to our starting point.


Accessibility: The walk will follow city sidewalks, but please note there are some rough sections along Stittsville Main Street.


There is street parking along Abbott St. east of Stittsville Main St., as well as a municipal parking lot on the west side of Stittsville Main St. just south of Abbott.


OC Transpo service via Route 61 to Stittsville. 


There is bike parking at Village Square Park.
