Imagining the future of Bank St in the Glebe

Photo:  Shops along Bank St.

Let's take a walk down Bank Street in the Glebe. There are a number of new developments planned along the street. At the same time, there are a lot of vacant store fronts. There are competing uses, an active BIA, and an engaged community, resulting in a fair amount of friction. There’s the potential for some great advancements, as well as some serious planning blunders. We’ll talk about what’s happening, the vision(s) for Bank Street, and what problems/possibilities we see.

Route
