Burritt's Rapids: Disappearing Habitat: Killing the Goose That Laid the Golden Egg

In this family-friendly, interactive chat, John McKenzie will discuss the importance of wildlife habitat and Matt Alkerton will dispel the myths of trapping practices. Be prepared to engage all your senses! There will be many pelts, traps and many other surprises to see, smell, touch, and hear.
Participants are asked to park in the village, along River Road, or at the Burritt's Rapids lock station. It is a half-km walk from River Road (the start of his driveway) to the workshop at Tall Pines. Please allow 30 min to walk from the village to Tall Pines, 20 min to walk from the lock station, or 15 min to walk from River Road.
