Lace up your sneakers and join Vanier Beautification and our neighbours for a walk through our community on and near Montreal Rd. We will visit a beautiful heritage church and neighbourhood parks and will discuss the local area with active and enthusiastic residents.

Route

Beginning at the Francophone Community Centre at 270 Marier Ave, we will walk north on Marier Ave to Marier Park, then continue north on Marier Ave to the Vanier Cenotaph. We will walk south on Hanna to Deschamps and west to Emond St and Emond Park. Finally, we will walk south to Montreal Ave and East to Cody where we will visit and tour St. Margaret's Anglican Church. Then we return to our starting point. Guest speakers will provide background information for the Francophone Centre and its mural, for Marier and Emond parks, and for the Vanier Cenotaph and the beautiful historic church. This returns us within a few yards of our starting point. The entire route is 1.3 km.

There is a parking lot at the Francophone Community Centre.  The #12 bus stops just feet away
