Complete Streets for Ottawa

Photo:  "Complete" street showing sidewalks, bike paths, transit stops, and car lanes.

Ottawa is contemplating a Complete Streets policy that ensures pedestrians, cyclists, and public transit users are properly prioritized on our roads. We will visit some downtown Ottawa examples of streets that are on their way to becoming Complete as well as those that are already there. Participants will also learn more about Ecology Ottawa and its campaign for Complete Streets for Ottawa, and how it is individuals can get involved to help ensure streets—important public places—serve all their users better.
