Route

We start at the main building at Mooney’s Bay (location of snack bar and change rooms), walk to the south end of the park opposite from the location of the former Bayview School, then north along Riverside Drive to the main entrance of Mooney’s Bay Park then walk down the road to Terry Fox Field and opposite from St. Patrick’s Home, then by walking path, we will walk west and then north to Hog’s Back, cross the bridge to the locks then return to the falls. Our walk will end with an optional tour of a 1820s-era quarry only 5 to 10 minutes walk from our end point.
