Jane's Walk Theme for 2026: Walk the Story

This May, our streets become our storybooks.

In celebration of Ottawa’s Bicentenary, Jane’s Walk Ottawa-Gatineau invites you to “Walk the Story.” From the stories of the Anishinaabeg Algonquin Peoples, to the rough-and-tumble days of Bytown, to the communities that shape the city today — each walk opens a new chapter.

As part of Ottawa 200, this year’s walks are an invitation to explore where we’ve been — and to imagine where we’re going.
