Woodroffe Woods

Please join the Crestview Meadowlands Community Association and the Poets’ Pathway as they walk through the Nepean green space between Woodroffe & Merivale, south of Norice Ave. This idyllic meadow and forest is well-loved by the neighbourhood and has many well-worn and well-maintained dirt paths. This area might soon be turned into a train yard for the city’s LRT, so if you haven’t seen this wonderful bit of the country in the heart of the city or if you'd like to express your views to fellow concerned citizens, this would be a good opportunity.

Long time residents Greg Elliott and George Babbage will talk about the area and Ben Glossop will talk about the Poets’ pathway.

Please meet us at the entrance to the green space on Norice Ave, about 50 meters east of Woodroffe.  We will walk south from the entrance along the southern portion of the green space, then loop around to the northern area.

The walk should be fairly easy, but is over dirt paths which might be a little muddy in spots, so choose you shoes accordingly, and bring water and sunscreen.
