Burritt's Rapids: Shrubs—Diversity and Drama in the Garden

A look at how shrubs can be used in the design of a garden to play the role of “bones” or structure and backdrop, as well as add interest, colour and texture. Coping with tight spaces and urban garden scale will also be discussed. The presentation will be based on Dave Dunn and Rob Caron's work at Rideau Woodland Ramble, the Canadian Garden Council's "Canadian Destination Garden Centre of the Year for 2015."

Note:  As part of the Jane's Walk festivities, there will be a potluck lunch in the Community Hall starting at 12:00 noon.  For more information on walks and activities in Burritt's Rapids for Jane's Walk Ottawa, please visit the blog: www.habicurious.com/jane.
