Cultural Landscape: Central Experimental Farm

The Central Experimental Farm is designed to showcase our nation’s advances in agrarian and horticultural science in a graciously landscaped setting, The Farm is a world-class gem.  Join author Katharine Fletcher as she highlights stories of this beloved Ottawa destination. Bring your own stories of your experiences at the farm, and participate what’s sure to be a lively discovery tour.

What to bring:  Especially at this time of year, the ground may be uneven and/or wet, so it’s important to wear appropriate walking shoes plus clothing for inclement weather. Bring your camera, binoculars (for potential bird-watching), insect repellant, wide-brimmed hat for rain or sun, umbrella, water, sunscreen, etc.
