Imagine the new Ottawa Art Gallery

At the heart of the retail, arts, and theatre district, steps away from the Rideau Centre, the Convention Centre, and two new downtown Light Rail Transit stops, the Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG) is getting a new amazing building. Situated at the corner of Waller St and Daly Ave., beside the Arts Court, the new OAG building is scheduled to open in time for Canada’s 150th anniversary celebration in 2017.  Under the carefully crafted proposed plan, the Gallery will grow more than three times its current size.  This walk offers a conceptual experience of the building’s footprint including the galleries, the studio, the multipurpose room, and the café.

The OAG team has been working with the City of Ottawa along with Joint Venture Architects Barry Padolsky Inc. and KPMB, and we look forward to sharing details on this exciting project and to answering any questions that participants may have.
