Bike Tour: Tulips on Two Wheels

Note:  This tour will be held twice:  once at 10:30 am and again at noon.

This tour will show some of the history of the area around Dow's Lake, including the tulips.

Ottawa has a strong historical connection to the Netherlands and the tulips, but the area also shows some of the change in land use, with different bridges and roads going across Dow's Lake. The area is also a draw for cyclists, and we'll talk about why.

This will be an easy, slow ride entirely on paths. There will be lots of stopping and we may walk parts of it if the paths are crowded.

Plus, we'll show you the secret tulip bed that nobody knows about!
