Walking is super – and bicycling in Ottawa is a treat! Join Kayla and Austin from The Otesha Project, to appreciate some of Ottawa from the seat of your trusty bicycle. Yep, welcome to Jane’s “Bike”!
We’ll pause on our bicycles three times along the way, you’ll get to see brief skits, and discuss the ways we are connected to our water, modes of transportation, and our food, all while we appreciate our surroundings beside the Rideau River. Kayla and Austin will share some of the creative ways that The Otesha Project mobilizes and equips Canadians to create local and global change through their individual and collective choices.
The Otesha Project is a national youth-led charitable organization that works to sustain long-lasting social change through programs that develop the attitudes, skills, and knowledge necessary for participants to make informed choices, live sustainable lifestyles and to be sustainability advocates in their communities. Otesha's programs use theatre, experiential activities, and storytelling to engage a wide range of audiences. To learn more about how you can ride on one of our cycling tours, check out www.otesha.ca.
