Jane's Walk Ottawa-Gatineau 2024
We're amazed as the response this year. Twenty-five walks are already fully booked! Thank you, Ottawa and Gatineau, for your interest in and support of Jane's Walk.
Note that the ByWard Market walk (Sat, May 4 at 11:00 am) has unlimited attendance. You are welcome to attend even if you did not sign up.
If you have signed up for a walk and you find you cannot attend, please cancel so that we can confirm a place for someone on the waiting list.
Weekend road closures:
Saturday May 4: Laurier Avenue between Elgin Street and Nicholas Street from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm
Sunday May 5:
Laurier Avenue (closed from Queen Elizabeth Driveway on ramp to Bay Street – Local access only from Bronson Avenue to Bay Street) - Elgin Street to Bay Street closed to all but crossing traffic) 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.;
Laurier Avenue (eastbound lanes closed from Elgin Street to Nicholas Street) 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.;
Queen Elizabeth Driveway (closed both directions from Laurier Avenue to Preston Street) 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
We hope you’ll join us for a casual get-together after a weekend of walking. Come hang out and connect with other Jane’s Walk participants and volunteers at our “after party,” Après Jane!
