A walk for your mind and body. This short walk will discuss and provide examples around the psychology of design and the social determinants of health. It will also explore the effect that municipalities, institutions, and organizations can have on making our spaces healthy and promoting healthy interactions between people and the urban environment.

Meet at in from of the Pet Valu store at Westgate Shopping Centre, near Carling Ave. and Merivale Road.  The walk will proceed southeast along Viscount Ave, coming back to Carling, crossing over to the Royal Ottawa Hospital.  We'll walk through the grounds of the Royal Ottawa, then along Island Park and Merivale Rd. back to Westgate Shopping Centre.
