This walk will take us through an urban community with a focus on the corner stores that can be found every few blocks.  We will consider the unique character of each store, what it contributes to the character of its neighbourhood, and how that particular neighbourhood influences the character of the shop.

Starting at Somerset & Preston, we will walk north on Preston to Elm St., then east on Elm to Rochester, south on Rochester to Balsam. We'll  backtrack one block north to Willow, then go east on Willow to Booth, where the walk ends.  We'll visit various corner stores along the way.
